Georgetown

Georgetown was one of the first new ‘wheat’ towns to be surveyed (1869).  Colonel Light’s plan for the city of Adelaide was the model for Georgetown and many others like it. These include Laura, Jamestown, Crystal Brook and Wirrabara.
